The three major hubs for domestic flights within Vietnam are Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang, with shorter domestic flights connecting through one of these hubs.
In addition, Pacific Airlines, which is owned in part by Vietnam Airlines, has flights between the three major airports in Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Danang. The level of service and safety is similar between Pacific Airlines and Vietnam Airlines, however the price of Pacific Airlines is slightly cheaper than Vietnam Airlines.
