Hai phong is located in the eastern north of Vietnam, 102 km from Hanoi, the city covers 152.318,49 ha large. Hai Phong today is more a part for coastal shipping than a destination for deep-sea trade.
When to go
It is possible to visit Hai phong year-round, the cold and dry north-east monsoons (during winter time) from November
to April. The cool and fresh south-eastern monsoons (during summer
time) causing a lot of rain from May to October.
